Filed Under:

I guess I have what is commonly known as writer's block, but since I don't really consider myself a writer, I think I'll change the term to "blogger's block" instead.

With nothing else to talk about, I guess I'll summarize my courses now that it's been two weeks into the new semester already (time flies when you're punching numbers constantly into a calculator all day):

Physics: I'm liking this class, but it's probably going to get a lot more difficult. I'm so glad I have an awesome teacher though; in his spare time, he set up a multi-point interactive Whiteboard using a Wiimote in our classroom! What I'm REALLY looking forward to in this class is the optics unit; cow eyeball dissection!

Chemistry: I've always loved chemistry because everything just seems to make sense in my head, and although the first unit is a bit slow, things should start to pick up soon. Again, I have a really good teacher, so I'm confident that this course is going to be one of my better ones.

Lunch: Shut up, this IS a course. :P They should probably change this to "Homework Session", since that's all everyone does (well, my friends at least) anyway.

Accounting: This is kind of a joke right now, the material is so easy that anyone with common sense can figure it out. However, although this is a boring course, I like it because it's the one class in which I never get homework. :P

Advanced Functions: Fast-tracking is awesome, especially if you have lots of friends in the same class as you. The teacher is awesome and although he's not the strict kind (like the one I had last semester, who was equally awesome), he still manages to control the classes pretty well. I'm not used to his way of teaching yet, but I'm sure I'll adapt.

BTW, Don't forget to celebrate 1234567890 Day, which is tomorrow!

Physics -- your teacher sounds so cool! Optics was my least-favourite unit, I think. It's not as fun as the rest :P The cow eye dissection would've been awesome IF WE'D ACTUALLY DONE IT. Argh.

Chem -- I loved chemistry, which is a problem since I'm not interested in pursuing it in University, but I still feel the need to take it.

Lunch -- I almost always do homework at this time, my friends are the ones who don't!

Accounting -- This is the one class I have which ALWAYS has homework. There go my lunch hours...

Advanced functions -- are you copying me? I took this class a year early, too xP I don't like my teacher, though. She barely knows what she's saying, and I'm tired of paying close attention so I can correct her mistakes. (She is the one who didn't know how to interpret curves on a velocity-time graph, not my physics teacher.)

I've just started to learn the subjects you've mentioned and..

We just learnt about the scalar and vector quantities and changing the derived quantities into (physical) quantities, I think. :3 I'm not really interested in this subject because I don't really know what am I doing.. just numbers. @_@

For me, there're a lot of chemical substances' name to be remembered. For example, Hydrogen, Helium, Lithium and so on and their chemical properties. I didn't remember the periodic table yet.. D:

Agreed! But my school has only 20 minutes of rest time. Walking to the cafeteria -- 2 minutes or so (it's quite far from my class). When I was in my primary school, we always finish our homework at this session. :P

Bah! My account teacher isn't a really good teacher. She has only entered our class for 3 TIMES for 2 MONTHS. Grr! I didn't go for an additional class.. I'm scared that I will fail at this subject :(

Aww, we don't celebrate 1234567890 Day here :( I visited that website but still, I don't get the meaning of it .__." failed.

I didn't know that people did dissections in Physics, I thought it was more of a Biology thing. Shows how much I know about science...

And yes, fast-tracking FTW. I took Writer's Craft last semester and am taking grade 12 World History this semester.

well, SOME of us do homework. Others just watch other people do homework. =D.

...and my word verification is phons. Which is very close to both ponds and phones...

I've never liked Chemistry! To me, it was the worst subject ever -- but I'm guessing it was most likely do to my various teachers' inability to teach! I much prefer Biology; though there was this one Biology professor I had in college who made me understand chemistry with such ease, that I even considered switching my major!

Something to say?
