Off to Shanghai!

Well, it's exactly what the title says: I'm going to Shanghai! Yep, I'll be fried alive daily out in the streets of Shanghai for 3 weeks.

I won't be able to blog there because Blogger is blocked in China, and I haven't written any posts in advance because... well, I'm lazy. :P

Things are quite hectic at the moment. Since my dad's not going with me and my mom, I had to bake him 4 loaves of bread and a dozen muffins to make sure he doesn't starve. I also still need to pack all my clothes and toiletries, but I can't pack the latter until tomorrow morning after I've brushed my teeth and stuff.

I'm going back mostly just to visit family; my grandpa's been in the hospital for a while (about two years now) and I also haven't seen my other relatives in about 3 years.

Anyway, I come back on August 11th, so I'll see you all then!

Also, I'm interested in knowing what you've done/are planning to do this summer. :)

    wow you're dad really can't make food can he, no wonder you do so much of the cooking.

    Also, I hope your grandpa gets better, I know it's been 2 years and all but still.

    Ans you know my plans of boredom, actually though while you're on a plane tomorrow i'm going to be at my cousin's wedding shower.

    Have fun in Shanghai! I'm going to China for three weeks starting August 13th :) I'm not going to Shanghai, though, even though I've always wanted to!

    Haha, it's nice that you're keeping your dad alive. Visiting family gets tiring, though. I just had two sets of family (one from my mother's side and one from my dad's) visit right after the other and I'm still pooped from having to entertain them. At least your family gets to entertain you, though. :)

    I'm not doing anything this summer besides signing up at the community college for a psychology class. Since I'm in high school, I get the class for free. (How cool is that?)

    Have fun in Shanghai!! My friend's grandparents just came back from there. They loved the shopping, hated the heat.

    Wow. For 3 weeks? Sounds like you'll have a ton of fun there! So exciting. I wish I had the money to take me to wonderful new places other than the place I live. :P One day!

    I hope you enjoy your self there and have plenty of time to visit your family, especially your grandfather! I hope he is well??
