LEAVES!

Filed Under:

Autumn: it's the season that makes me very very indecisive, especially because it itself is incredibly indecisive. (Oh hey, I was born in October... suddenly my inability to decide makes so much sense!)

On one hand, fall is great because:

1. Temperature-wise: it's not boiling, but not ridiculously cold either.

2. LEAVES! I've never jumped into a pile of leaves before, but I hear that it's great fun and really really want to do it one day! (Hopefully this year before it starts to snow; although Kaylee says they've already gotten the first snow fall of the year, so I'm not sure how long it'll be before we get it too...)

3. Back to school! I know I know, many would not see this as a good thing, but after 2 months of vegetation, I was eager to go back to school and have a scheduled life once again.

On the other hand... fall fails because:

1. Temperature-wise: It doesn't know what it wants to be! It's like "okay, so today I'll be extremely warm and tomorrow I'll make everyone wish they were wearing boots and a parka! Haha, I'm such a trickster!" FYI, you're not. I don't think anyone finds it funny to catch another cold every time we seem to get better from the previous cold. *shakes fist at sky*

2. Fall means... that winter is coming up. I hate winter with a passion (see new header, also, feedback would be great!) because I can't ski and I despise the cold. And because my parents insist on keeping our house at 66 degrees fahrenheit. *Shivers*

So, to sum it all up, I can't decide whether or not I like the most indecisive season of them all. How about you? What are your thoughts on autumn?

Personally I love fall, except for the fact that I can't wear flipflops.
You allready know my thoughts on your header. I'm so thrilled that you added ryan and dan to the bottom, love them.
Ont thing I love about fall and winter, the return of scarves that have a purpose. I've mentioned this before but I'm kinda sick of everyone wearing scarves as fashion, I want real scarves the kind that keep your neck warm, when it gets real cold, expect me to pull out the gryffindor love.

Also, you've never jumped in leaves? Why is that not on the list of things you need to do crazy person! In 9th grade me and Julie were hanging out at my house and just made a giant pile to jump in, my little sister thought we were to old, but I don't care it was fun. My goal in life is to now make you jump in a leaf pile.
Also I really enjoy stepping on crunchy leaves.

My verifivation code is mosia, i feel like it could be a singular for mosiac, you know if that weren't already singular.

Autumn used to be my favorite season since it wasn't too hot or too cold and my birthday's in fall, but now that I've experienced autumn in Chicago, I'm not so sure I like the temperature anymore! It feels like winter. Thus, my favorite season now is now summer.

I can assure you that jumping into leaves isn't as fun as it sounds. All that happens is you get covered with dirt and leaves :p

I thought I liked autumn and spring for the temperature factor, but considering the current temperatures where I am, maybe I don't like spring that much after all, hmmm.

Also, I prefer winter to summer! In winter I can wear lots of clothes and have a heater on, but in summer I have no air conditioning and it's really uncomfortable...

Yes, I totally agree with you on the weather thing! I wish Mother Nature would make up her mind! We had really nice weather last weekend but now it's been raining and the winds are howling. Totally crazy.

But I love the fall season the best. The colors of the leaves are so amazing and it's not too hot anymore. :-)

Something to say?
