Life Update
So since it is way too hot for me to be energetic right now, I'm going to make a list! Lists are great when you're a lazy bum like me.
Since I last updated, I...
- Accepted a university offer of admission! If you're interested, I accepted to The University of Western Ontario for a combined 5-year degree in Honours Biomedical Sciences and Honours Business Administration.
- Finally got my peace and quiet after the flooring guys moved out.
- Got to wear a dress for the first time this year! YAY SUMMER! (Although, it felt like 35 degrees today and I was not pleased by the afternoon)
- Reconnected with an old friend from middle school!
- Loved the last couple of weeks!
I can't wait for high school to be over, and I can not wait to go to Europe with Nick in July! We still have so much planning to do regarding what we want to do in each city... we will be visiting Paris, Nice, Antibes, Prague, Munich, Frankfurt, and Rome, so if anyone has any suggestions on what we MUST visit, feel free to comment!
What is the weather like where you live, and what climate do you prefer?
Wow, Congrats on being accepted into Uni. A 5 year degree? That's a long time to study.. Biomedical Science and Business are both very different things. How did you come to pick both of those?
You're going traveling? That's awesome! I haven't even been out of my own country. :( I hope you enjoy yourself!
The weather right NOW is rain. It's winter now. I'm not the biggest fan of Winter. I LOVE summer, I love to swim, this year I only got to swim once. It was rather depressing. :(
Paris... oh gosh, you know, the usual. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, l'Arc de Triomphe, all that. It's absolutely beautiful. Be sure to go to the Champs Elysees and the Latin Quartier!
As for Nice, if you get the chance, schlep over to Gras. The perfumery there is beyond compare. Also, Cannes isn't too far, and that's always a nifty place to check out. And maybe make a day trip to Monaco? It's totally doable :)
Congratulations on getting accepted! Biomedical Sciences and Business Administration? I wish you nothing but good luck and fortune. Having gone through university myself, I was ecstatic when it was finally over! Thought not really, because I plan on going back to get my Master's and PhD in a few years! :-)
Lucky. It's winter here and I only get to wear dresses with stockings and even like that my teeth will chatter the whole way through. D:
Aww if I went to Europe I'd totally go to Venice too to ride in a boat down the rivers. :P Have fun!
